Ummeed has worked with over 80 schools in the past 5 years to support children with disabilities in the classroom. Awareness and sensitization sessions in mainstream schools generate an increased interest in inclusion. Following this, they provide longer term training to build skills and capacity to support children with developmental disabilities more effectively. This leads to greater inclusion in the social and academic spheres.
