Preschool program for children with developmental delay in this residential program provides toys, equipment, and specialized early childhood educators.
Family Planning Association of India
Projects to prevent HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases among transgender individuals and female and male sex workers, as well as the teen-age population in Sutarwadi, Warje Malwadi, Balewadi and Ramnagar areas. In addition, promote testing for HIV/AIDS and, when positive, provide counseling and facilitate referrals for treatment.
Project to develop educational videos in order to increase awareness among low-income urban parents of the problem of rote memorization and their children's poor learning outcomes. These videos, disseminated through smart-phones, show parents simple activities they can do with their children to improve learning.

Ummeed has worked with over 80 schools in the past 5 years to support children with disabilities in the classroom. Awareness and sensitization sessions in mainstream schools generate an increased interest in inclusion. Following this, they provide longer term training to build skills and capacity to support children with developmental disabilities more effectively. This leads to greater inclusion in the social and academic spheres.
Abhiruchi Varga - After-school programs at ten sites in disadvantaged communities where trained teachers provide enrichment for children aged 4-12 through structured activities.
Covid-19 Relief - Emergency humanitarian funding for food rations for families of students in after-school programs and recovery support for small vendors.
Phulwa Project - Day program for children of commercial sex workers in the Red Light Area provides early childhood education, tutoring, computers, and supplemental nutrition.
